Inter fans will soon have a new anthem to enjoy at San Siro, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition revealed the Nerazzurri were about to release a new club song, which could be unveiled before the end of this season.

Inter have contacted numerous artists over writing the new song but they are expected to pick the one written by Nerazzurri supporter Max Pezzali and DJ Claudio Cecchetto.

The anthem would be sung by Mirko Mengozzi, Inter’s official announcer at San Siro, and is part of their general mission to rebrand the club.

Inter have received interest from several artists to pen the anthem, with rock singer Giuseppe Povia recently pledging to write something if Antonio Conte’s side secured the Serie A title.

The Nerazzurri moved ‘Pazza Inter’ to one side following Antonio Conte’s appointment as head coach and have since been using ‘C’e solo l’Inter’, but now a new melody is on its way.
