Marcelo Brozovic could leave Inter at the end of the season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said that while the Nerazzurri did not plan to sell any of their key players in the summer, the Croatian was one player whose future remained uncertain.

Brozovic is under contract with Inter until 2022 and there is no sign of talks for a new deal, making him a more easily expendable player.

The midfielder could be tempted to depart if he performs well at the European Championships and Inter receive an appealing offer.

Brozovic came close to leaving Inter during last summer’s transfer window when there were talks over a swap deal involving Leandro Paredes.

The deal ultimately fell through but the 28-year-old could be set for more speculation at the end of the current season.

Brozovic has made 38 appearances in all competitions for Inter during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring once and providing seven assists.
