Inter are in danger of losing out to Leicester City in the battle to sign Robin Gosens, according to a report in the Italian media today.

The Nerazzurri were linked with a move for the Atalanta wing-back earlier this week, with a report suggesting they could offer Sebastiano Esposito and Lorenzo Pirola as part of the deal.

Calciomercato.com have confirmed rumours in England that Leicester City are in advanced talks with the 26-year-old, who is also being followed by Inter and Juventus.

The Premier League club must now try to satisfy Atalanta’s demands, with the Bergamaschi said to want €25 million.

CM said developments were expected in the near future regarding the clubs’ talks, meaning Inter could miss out on what would seem to be an ideal reinforcement for Antonio Conte.

Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City were also linked elsewhere with a deal for Gosens, who has scored 10 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Atalanta this season.
