Inter have not ruled out the idea of keeping Ashley Young for next season, according to a report in the UK.

Young is out of contract with the Nerazzurri in the summer and is widely expected to be released, with Inter looking to rejuvenate an ageing squad.

However, The Mirror claim Inter are considering offering the 35-year-old a new deal if they wrap up the Serie A title this weekend.

Young has interest from his former club Watford, who secured promotion to the Premier League last Saturday, but the Hornets might need to move quickly in order to avoid missing out.

Inter signed Young from Manchester United in January last year and have since seen him make 56 appearances under Antonio Conte.

Conte has used the Englishman as a left wing-back in his 3-5-2 system, although Young has fallen behind Ivan Perisic in the pecking order since the turn of the year.
