Inter face a difficult summer in the transfer market but they are not expected to dismantle their Serie A title-winning squad, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Nerazzurri president Steven Zhang had already made it clear that Inter needed to limit their spending in the summer.
Inter will need to plan their outgoings and arrivals with great caution, but the report said this was not the same thing as having to sell multiple players.
Nobody at Inter has heard any sign from Suning of the club needing to radically change their squad, the Milan-based paper assured.
Inter intend to keep the spine of their squad in tact after it helped Zhang became the club’s youngest ever president to win Serie A.
Suning have also become the first overseas owners to win the title in Italy, with chairman Zhang Jindong offering his thanks and congratulations to everyone at the club in a letter today.
