Inter are prepared to hand Ivan Perisic a contract extension on one condition, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As per Gazzetta.it, Perisic wants to stay with the Nerazzurri and his entourage are hoping to convince Inter to offer him a new deal.
Inter would be willing to consider a fresh contract for Perisic, but only if he agrees to reduce his annual salary worth €5 million.
Perisic is under contract until the end of next season and has renewed hope of staying at Inter after an excellent second half of the season.
Elsewhere, Inter remain keen on a deal to sign Atalanta’s Robin Gosens and have made contact with his agent over a possible move.
The Nerazzurri are likely to have better luck chasing deals for Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso though, or even Filip Kostic at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Juan Musso and Marco Silvestri remain Inter’s main two options if they choose to sign a goalkeeper for next season, while they are also seeking a fourth striker and another signing in midfield.
