Inter’s players continued their Serie A title festivities today by enjoying a special lunch with Antonio Conte, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As per FcInter1908.it, the Nerazurri’s squad returned to training after three days off on Wednesday and dined afterwards in a restaurant in the centre of Milan, near the club’s offices.
Inter’s players had an excellent afternoon with Conte in which they sang and chanted to celebrate winning the Scudetto.
The party will continue on Sunday when Inter finally lift the trophy at San Siro, following their final game of the season at home to Udinese at 15:00 CET.
Conte is lapping up Inter’s title celebrations after a year of hard work, but he is set for a far more serious appointment tomorrow if reports are to be believed.
Sport Mediaset claimed this afternoon that Conte would finally hold his face-to-face talks with Steven Zhang and club directors on Thursday, after which his future as head coach should become much clearer.
