Antonio Conte has two options for his future at Inter, according to a leading Italian broadcaster this afternoon.

Sky Sport Italia (via FcInter1908.it) said Conte was very unlikely to resign as the Nerazzurri’s head coach, while Inter were also not expected to sack him.

This leaves two possibilities, and the first is that Inter and Conte find a middle ground and agree to move forward, with clarity about the club’s plans for the future.

The other option is the parties reaching an agreement to separate by mutual consent, despite Conte still having a year left on his contract.

There is still no certainty over whether Conte will get the chance to meet Inter president Steven Zhang to discuss his future, although it seems Zhang doesn’t believe it is necessary anymore.

Regardless of whether they hold talks though, Sky said the ‘next move’ would be decisive in one way or another.
