Inter have not contacted former Juventus and AC Milan coach Massimiliani Allegri yet amidst uncertainty surrounding the future of current Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who moments ago reported that Inter have not yet been in touch with the former Rossoneri and Bianconeri coach Max Allegri.

Furthermore, there is no more any need for Antonio Conte to sit down in a meeting with club President Steven Zhang the report continues.

This after Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have informed the former Chelsea coach of the Nerazzurri President’s decision that Inter have to cut costs by 15-20% as well as end the transfer window on a €70-80 million surplus.

“There is no will to hold a meeting between Zhang and Conte as there is no longer a need for it. Zhang has communicated the strategy for the coming season, where there must be a wage decrease of 15-20% as well as a transfer window that brings in €70-80 million from player sales.

“Either this is done with several minor player transfers which is difficult, or one of the untouchables will be sacrificed. Who that player or players will be is a matter for the transfer market to determine.”

According to the report, Antonio Conte does not intend to resign to give up on his last year of contract and Inter do not intent to sack him either.

Should he leave the club it will be via a mutual termination but as things stand Antonio Cone has no offers from any other clubs today.

“Marotta and Ausilio have already informed Antonio Conte of the plan and now there are two options. Either the directors manage to convince Conte via diplomacy or there will be a mutual termination.

“Inter wont sack Conte and Conte has no intention of giving up his last year of contract. So a financial solution to agree to a mutual termination could be found.

“Inter hope to resolve this situation in 2/3 days, there is great calm at the club. If Conte leaves he does not have another club ready.

“Inter could go after Allegri if Conte leaves but there have been no contacts as of today.”
