Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is growing impatient about his future as the club weigh up their options for a big sale this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.
According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Argentinian is struggling to understand what Inter’s plans and ambitions are going forward.
It’s known that Simone Inzaghi and the majority of directors at the club want to keep Lautaro Martinez for next season, but it is also known that should a team bid €90 million the club are very likely to accept it. This leaves the player uncertain about his future.
Lautaro Martinez is committed and is unlikely to force a move away and he does have an option to extend his contract for another year should he wish. The current deal runs until 2023 and sees him earn €2.5 million a year.
The extension would trigger a pay rise, meaning he’d earn €4.5 million a year.
