Inter are in talks with Spanish club Real Sociedad over the possible departure of goalkeeper Andrei Radu, according to reports.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport report that a meeting took place between the Nerazzurri and the Basque club yesterday to discuss the possibility of a transfer for the 24-year-old Romanian.

Inter are considering their goalkeeping situation for next season, with Samir Handanovic set to stay on as first-choice option in the position and Alex Cordaz replacing the departed Daniele Padelli as third-choice.

For Handanovic’s backup, however, the club are considering several targets from within Serie A, while Radu, the Slovenians deputy from last season, could depart, having made few appearances last season.

La Real’s interest in the player appears to be concrete, though it remains to be seen whether a move for the Inter keeper to Spain would likely be a loan or on a permanent basis.

Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport report that Paris Saint-Germain are close to submitting an offer for Achraf Hakimi worth €70 million, an amount that the Nerazzurri would accept.
