Inter are ready to offer Radja Nainggolan and Andrea Pinamonti to Cagliari in exchange for Uruguayan midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giorno, who report that the Nerazzurri are preparing to offer a swap deal to the Rossoblu which would see Nandez join Inter while players go the other way.

With Hakan Calhanoglu’s signing from AC Milan confirmed yesterday and Achraf Hakimi’s departure thought to be imminent, the Nerazzurri are moving on to other important business in the transfer market.

Inter and Cagliari are thought to have been in talks for transfers involving several player, with Inter’s wish to sign Nandez and the hope of making Nainggolan’s loan stay in Sardinia permanent for next season top of the agenda.

The club will hope that a deal can be reached which can get both transfers over the line, with Nainggolan’s move having stalled recently and Inter not having yet met Nandez’s valuation.

Inter will propose a straight swap for Nandez which includes not only Nainggolan, but also striker Andrea Pinamonti, a player who the Rossoblu are thought to be interested in.

It remains to be seen whether this offer would be acceptable to Cagliari or whether the Sardinian club would want to negotiate on the valuation before accepting.
