Reggina have confirmed the signing of Rigoberto Rivas from Inter on a permanent transfer.

This is according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who confirms on his website that the 22-year-old Honduran has made his loan move to the Calabrian club from the past two seasons permanent, while defender Lorenzo Gavioli also joins on loan from Inter.

Rivas’s transfer comes with a fee of €350,000, to be paid in in instalments over three years.

Rivas has been on loan with the Serie B club since 2019, and the Calabrians had shown an interest in signing the player permanently after being happy with his form during his loan spell, arriving at their desired outcome today.

Gavioli, meanwhile, arrives at Reggina after spending last season on loan with Serie C side FeralPisalo, with Reggina being the home of his immediate future.

The 21-year-old has not yet made a senior appearance for the Nerazzurri first team, and it remains to be seen what the intentions of the club are for the player.
