Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi looks set to stay at the club for next season, according to reports.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the 25-year-old is not likely to move despite rumours earlier in the season, with the player’s agent Beppe Riso having met with Inter yesterday.

Riso’s visit with the Nerazzurri was thought to concern multiple players who the Italian represents, but Sensi is thought to be one Riso client whose name came up in discussions.

Sensi missed large portions of last season through injuries, but it is thought that the Italian midfielder is a player who the club hope will be a part of new manager Simone Inzaghi’s plans for next season.

Sensi joined Inter from Sassuolo in 2019 to be part of the club’s project under Antonio Conte, impressing at times, but he has only made forty appearances in all competitions for the club in two seasons thanks to injuries, and will hope that he can find a longer run of form under Inzaghi.
