Chelsea are still making late attempts to put themselves back in the running for the signing of Inter’s Achraf Hakimi, but the player is firmly committed to a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are still willing to entertain offers from the Blues, but Hakimi wants to finalize a move to the French capital.

PSG are reported to have made contact with Inter earlier this week, and are expected to return with a final offer in the coming days.

Hakimi has already agreed personal terms with the Parisian club, with the Moroccan set to earn a net of €8 million annually plus €2 million in add-ons, double his salary in Milan.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are still attempting to persuade Inter with offers including Spanish wing-back Marcos Alonso, with the clubs said to be negotiating on a valuation of the Spaniard, with Inter said to want €55 million in addition to the player.

Alonso is a major target of the Nerazzurri this summer and the club are said to be willing to continue negotiating with the Blues if it means that a deal could be reached which would bring in both Alonso and a cash offer which meets their valuation of Hakimi.

However, from Hakimi’s camp the intention is clear, moving in the direction of a transfer to PSG.

It is not clear whether the Nerazzurri would be able to negotiate with Chelsea for the transfer of Alonso should Hakimi move to PSG rather than the London club.
