Arturo Vidal has opened up about his future, and he has acknowledged a dream to join Brazilian giants Flamengo, but also committed himself to the Nerazzurri for next season.

Speaking to Colombian broadcaster W Radio, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Chilean affirmed that his current contract is with Inter, and gave no indication that he will seek a transfer.

The 34-year-old joined Inter from Barcelona last year to join Antonio Conte’s squad, making thirty appearances in all competitions as the manager trusted the contributions of the experienced midfielder.

However, the former Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, and Bayern Munich man is not thought to be in the plans of Simone Inzaghi for next season, and the club are seeking to shift the salary of the remaining year of his contract from the wage bill.

The Chilean has been linked with moves away to numerous clubs so far in the window, but so far no concrete movements towards a departure have been observed.

Vidal said the following about a possible dream move to Flamengo:

“I always say that it’s my dream to play for Flamengo. I have a contract with Inter but maybe next year I’ll go there. It would be a dream, my hunger remains the same as always.”
