The InterSpac initiative for fan shareholding at Inter has taken a step forward with the introduction of a questionnaire to gauge fan support.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport report that the questionnaire is an way for the project’s founders to understand how much support and interest the initiative has.

InterSpac is an initiative to bring Nerazzurri supporters into the club’s ownership model, with the acquisition of shares by fans, transitioning from a model where the club has a single owner to one close to the fan ownership model associated with Bundesliga clubs.

Economist and Inter fan Carlo Cottarelli, a key proponent of the project’s launch, announced the questionnaire in recent days, and it goes live today.

The results of the questionnaire will be important in determining the outcome of the initiative, with a sounding out of how widespread fan support for the project is crucial as Cottarelli and other proponents look to open up a dialogue with Inter owners Suning and hope to demonstrate a strong base of support.
