Inter could be offered Barcelona’s Jordi Alba as a part of a player exchange, according to reports.

This from Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo in today’s print edition, who claim that the Catalan giants could offer Alba as part of a swap deal with four Inter players among their targets.

Finding a left-sided player for coach Simone Inzaghi’s squad is a priority for the Nerazzurri in the summer transfer window, and Alba could be an option.

The 32-year-old is thought to be of interest to Inter, though there are no firm developments that could lead to his arrival in Milan at the moment.

The Blaugrana need to reduce the size of their squad and wage bill and are amenable to allowing the player to leave.

The only offers coming out of Barcelona at the moment are believed to be swap deals, with the Catalan club inquiring about the availability of Milan Skriniar, Alessandro Bastoni, Marcelo Brozovic, and Lautaro Martinez as part of a deal for Alba.

However, all four players asked for are considered essential to the Nerazzurri project and Inter are not currently considering offers that would see any of them depart.
