Simone Inzaghi wants Lazio’s Manuel Lazzarri to replace Achraf Hakimi for next season, with the Moroccan set to depart for Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days.

This is according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia’s transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla who moments ago on air reported, that Lazzarri is one of two names at the top of the Nerazzurri’s list for the right-sided position alongside PSV’s Denzel Dumfries.

Inter are ready to accept an offer from PSG and will not turn down any deal which reaches a valuation of €70 million including add-ons for Hakimi.

Therefore, the club will have to find a player to slot in on the right side who has the right profile to replace the Moroccan’s contributions.

With the Nerazzurri set to deal with PSG over Chelsea for Hakimi it remains to be seen whether the Premier League club would cooperate on any other deals in this window.

This places left wing-back duo Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri in doubt but also means that Davide Zappacosta is not a likely candidate for the right wing-back role.

PSV’s Dumfries is one name linked, but Inzaghi’s first choice is for an immediate reunion with Lazzari, with the pair having had a good relationship together at the Biancocelesti the past two seasons.

Lazzari is thought to be a player who Lazio would be willing to deal on, as he is not considered to be untouchable by the club, but it remains to be seen whether a deal could be reached with the Nerazzurri.
