Inter have not made contact with Manuel Lazzari’s entourage over the possibility of signing the player despite the 27-year-old having been rumoured to be a target to replace Hakimi.

This is according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that there have been no talks between Inter and the Italian wing-back so far.

With Achraf Hakimi expected to depart for Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days, it is thought that replacing the Moroccan is a transfer priority for the Nerazzurri.

Lazio’s Lazzari is one name which has been linked with Inter in the past days, with the player thought to be a request of incoming Inter manager Simone Inzaghi who worked with the player for the past two seasons at Lazio.

However, as of yet, this has only been a matter of consideration on the part of the Nerazzurri, with no concrete steps taking towards bringing the player to the Giuseppe Meazza.
