Inter are stepping up their pursuit of Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori, with the club thought to be ready to offer €20 million for the player’s signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are in talks with the player’s agents and have confirmed that they are ready to put an offer on the table.

It is reported that yesterday the player’s agents Tullio Tinti and Manuel Montipo visited the Nerazzurri, and that during the discussion Inter made clear that they hope to progress with negotiations for the 21-year-old striker.

€20 million is thought to be the amount initially proposed by Inter for the player’s signature, tough the Neazzurri will need to increase liquidity at the club before they can formally table an offer.

It is not yet known what the Neroverdi’s valuation of the player would be, and whether Inter’s offer would come close to persuading the Emilia-Romagna club, with the player’s EURO 2020 appearances potentially raising his market value.

However, Inter have made clear that once they are able to move forward on signing players Raspadori will be a top target, and it will be seen whether they can successfully negotiate for the player’s sale.
