Alex Cordaz has officially signed for Inter, with the 38-year-old goalkeeper joining the Nerazzurri from Crotone.
Cordaz’s arrival is confirmed by the club’s official site, who state that the player is under contract at the club until June 30, 2022.
Cordaz’s arrival had been expected for some days, with the player thought to be ready to return to the club where he made his start.
The 38-year-old is a Nerazzurri academy product, making his debut with Inter’s Primavera side where he was a regular starter and won the Primavera title.
However, the player was unable to really establish himself in Inter’s first team, and left in search of senior football in 2006.
In 2015 Cordaz joined Crotone where he made more than two hundred appearances, eventually becoming club captain.
The 38-year-old returns to the Nerazzurri having shown his character and leadership, and it is believed that whether or not he makes many appearances his presence in the locker room and familiarity with the club will be a welcome addition to the squad.
