Inter have wished luck to all of the Nerazzurri players still participating in EURO 2020 as the knockout phase of the tournament is set to commence tomorrow, posting a photo and message of support on the club’s official Twitter account.
The likes of Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku and Italy’s Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni are among the Nerazzurri players who will hope to progress in the tournament.
The post also mentions stricken Danish captain Christian Eriksen, who will not be able to play in Denmark’s round of sixteen clash with Wales but is still in the minds of all Danish and Inter supporters.
The post links to a roundup of players still left in the competition, reading:
“Congrats to our boys, who are through to the knockouts at EURO 2020! And we especially wish @ChrisEriksen8‘s Denmark the best of luck! Our round-up of Nerazzurri involvement in the group stage”
