Inter are monitoring the situation of Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori, and could make the 21-year-old a priority target should they lose an important attacking player.

This was reported by Italian television channel Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio on his show Calciomercato L’Originale, broadcast on Friday evening.

The young Sassuolo striker is thought to have been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for some time, and the club met with the player’s agent Tullio Tinti earlier this week, where it is reported that they made clear their interest in bringing in the player.

However, it is not thought the the process to sign Raspadori is currently any farther along than that.

This could change though, if Inter are to lose either one of forwards Alexis Sanchez or Lautaro Martinez, with the latter in particular a player who has attracted significant transfer interest.

Despite this, no concrete offers are thought to have arrived for either Sanchez or Martinez yet in the window.

Raspadori scored six goals in 28 appearances for Sassuolo last season and has been included in Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad for Euro 2020.
