Inter midfielder Matias Vecino has celebrated Uruguay’s progression to the knockout round of the Copa America by posting a picture of himself and his teammates celebrating.
Uruguay booked their place in the knockouts with a win over Bolivia yesterday, currently sitting fourth in their group, although it is not yest known who their Round of 16 opponent will be with the bracket to be determined after more results.
Uruguay play Paraguay in their final group stage game on Monday.
Vecino’s tweet reads: “First objective complete! On Monday there will be more! Vamos la Celeste!”
