Inter have been in contact with the agent of Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, but the contacts have only been exploratory so far and no formal or informal agreements have been reached.

This is the claim of Italian news outlet NerazzurriSiamoNoi.it, who report that Bellerin’s agent Alberto Botines was in Milan on Friday to meet with the Nerazzurri but that his meeting was only to begin a dialogue.

Bellerin has been linked with Inter in recent days as a target to replace the departing Achraf Hakimi, with the Moroccan’s move to Paris Saint-Germain set to be finalized soon.

The Nerazzurri are thought to be ready to set about replacing Hakimi with a player with the right profile to take over his role on the right side, and the 26-year-old Arsenal defender is thought to be a defender that the club has admired for some time.

It is thought that Arsenal will ask for around €20 million for the Spaniard, although Inter could ask for the player on loan initially so that they could pay the fee for him later for accounting reasons.

As of yet, however, it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri can reach an agreement with the Gunners, or agree personal terms with the player, as contacts have thus far only been exploratory in nature.
