Inter are looking to bring in Hellas Verona goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to replace Andrei Radu over the summer, according to reports.
This from Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb.com, who claim that the 24-year-old Romanian Radu could depart from the Giuseppe Meazza in favour of a more experienced option in Silvestri.
The Romanian is currently wanted by Spanish club Real Sociedad, and could depart either on loan or on a permanent basis with his playing time having been limited at Inter due to the presence of first-choice keeper Samir Handanovic ahead of him.
The Nerazzurri are hoping to bring in a second-choice keeper who will play behind the Slovenian next season, but with a view to replacing him in the coming season, with the current Number One turning 37 next month.
Silvestri could be the right target for the club, having impressed across last season at Verona as a dependable first-choice option while still being the right age to stay at the club for several seasons as first choice.
