With the deal that will see Achraf Hakimi depart Inter to join Paris Saint-Germain all but done, Inter have identified Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin as one possible target to replace the Moroccan.

This according to Italian transfer market expert Fabrizio Biasin who reports on his official Twitter account that there is tangible interest in the Arsenal player, but emphasizes that other names are in consideration as well.

With Hakimi’s exit, Inter will set themselves the task of bringing in a player with the right profile to replace the 22-year-old’s contributions and hold down the right-sided role in Simone Inzaghi’s squad for next season.

Bellerin’s name has emerged in recent days, with the Nerazzurri supposedly in talks with the Gunners over the possibility of signing the 26-year-old with the possibility of an initial loan move with an option to buy having been reported.

Biasin confirms that the interest is there from the Nerazzurri, though so far this appears to be in an early stage.

Biasin’s tweet reads as follows: “– For #Hakimi #Psg will pay just over €70 million, including bonuses.

– For the Moroccan’s replacement, among many more or less invented names, #Bellerin is one of the profiles actually being monitored. But at the moment he is only one of the many possibilities being taken into consideration.”
