Alexis Sanchez is a player who new Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi wants to keep at the Giuseppe Meazza, while young striker Andrea Pinamonti looks to be on his way out at the club.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the new Inter boss has clarified his desire for the Nerazzurri squad in attacking areas for next season.

Sanchez is thought to be a player whose qualities Inzaghi admires, and the 32-year-old will be in the incoming manager’s plans for next season.

This is especially true with the possibility of a departure for striker Lautaro Martinez, in which case the Chilean’s role in the squad could be even more vital.

22-year-old Andrea Pinamonti, meanwhile, looks to be on his way out, with the young attacker not in Inzaghi’s plans and set to leave in search of regular football.

New arrivals in Serie A Salernitana are thought to be a club seriously interested in the player, although it remains to be seen whether they will step up their efforts to sign him.

Lastly, Eddie Salcedo is a forward option who Inzaghi will look to evaluate during the summer, with the 19-year-old currently set to return from his loan spell with Hellas Verona last season.
