Inter are ready to step up their pursuit of Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori, with the 21-year-old a priority target in the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are set to pursue further talks towards a deal for the player in the coming days.

It is reported that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta will meet with Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali tomorrow with the market set to open, and that the matter of Raspadori’s possible transfer will be a key point on the agenda in their discussions.

Relations between the Nerazzurri and Raspadori’s parent club are good, and it is thought that the Neroverdi have set their asking price for the player at around €20 million.

Inter’s approach for the young striker could depend on other factors around the squad, especially the look of the rest of Simone Inzaghi’s attacking options, but the club appear to be serious about remaining in the hunt for the striker should they wish to make a move during the window.
