Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is a top target for Inter as the club look to replace the departing Achraf Hakimi, but the club will only be able to sign him on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Inter are hoping to sign the 26-year-old, but are unable to do so on a permanent basis this summer.

The Gunners are thought to value the player at around €20 million, an amount which would be difficult for the Nerazzurri to pay in the summer transfer window with the financial restrictions at the club and other targets to pursue as well.

However, Inter are thought the be ready to offer the London club an arrangement which would see the Spaniard arrive at the Giuseppe Meazza on loan in the summer, with Inter having the option to make the loan permanent next summer at Arsenal’s €20 million valuation.

The club will have more financial flexibility to invest the amount towards the player next summer, but must hope that their English counterparts will be willing to agree to such an agreement if they are to sign the player.
