Michele Di Gregorio will be a Monza player next season, with the Inter-owned goalkeeper having renewed his loan at the Serie B club.
The club’s official site confirms that the 23-year-old will continue his journey in Monza, having established himself there on a loan spell last season.
The young goalkeeper made 31 appearances last season, with 29 coming in Serie B, and Monza are thought to have been very keen on keeping the player at the club with talks over the player taking place with the Nerazzurri over the past few weeks.
Di Gregorio re-joins Monza on a loan deal for one season, though the deal between the clubs contains the option for Monza to buy they player on a permanent basis, as well as the obligation to do so should certain conditions be met.
The young Inter-owned keeper has never made an appearance with the Nerazzurri first team, though the eagerness of Monza to keep him for next season suggests that he could have a key role to play at an ambitious club going forward even if it is not Inter.
