Parma’s Luigi Sepe could arrive at Inter next season, with the Nerazzurri moving forward on talks to bring the goalkeeper in on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have identified the 30-year-old as a backup for Samir Handanovic next season and that talks for the player are well underway.

Handanovic is set to remain at the Giuseppe Meazza next season in his role as Number One, but the Slovenian turns 37 next month, and the Nerazzurri have been at work finding a deputy for him who could also be trusted to take over when he departs.

Several targets have emerged, but it now looks like Sepe is a player who the club are serious about, and talks are well underway for the player’s arrival from Parma.

The deal with the Emilia-Romagna club is set to be for an initial loan move for the 30-year-old, with Inter having the right to buy the player permanently inserted in the deal.
