Inter forward Alexis Sanchez has returned to full training with the Chilean national team ahead of the country’s Copa America quarter-final encounter with Brazil on Friday.

This is confirmed by recent Instagram posts made by the player which show him training and getting himself ready for competitive action.

It is not known whether the player will be fully fit in time for the 32-year-oold will be fully fit for the clash with the Selecao, or whether he will be selected, but his availability is a boost for Chilean manager Martin Lasarte.

The Chilean’s fitness has been a problem at times since he joined the Nerazzurri from Manchester United, with the player having been ruled out of numerous matches in his two years at the club.

However, Sanchez still managed to make 38 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring seven goals, all in the league as Inter won the Scudetto, and the club will hope that injuries do not prevent him from making a major contribution next season as well.
