Inter have posted a photo on the club’s official Instagram account playfully pointing out the gesture of protest that Nicolo Barella sometimes uses in matches.

The 24-year-old gained social media attention after Italy’s round-of-sixteen win over Austria at EURO 2020 for an exaggerated finger-pursing gesture when complaining about a free kick received by Austria.

The club link this emotional gesture by the player to the gesture’s association with Italian footballers historically, humorously captioning the photo “ITALIAN STYLE”.
