Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto would consider a move to Inter should the club look to sign him, with the 29-year-old linked as a possible Achraf Hakimi replacement.

This according to Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb.com, who report that the player is aware of the interest from the Nerazzurri.

Inter are looking to bring in a replacement for Hakimi on the right side of the squad, with multiple names having emerged as targets, and Roberto’s has been added to the list in the past few days.

The player’s current deal with the Blaugranas is set to expire in 2022, and he has not yet been offered an extension, and the Catalan club could look to move him on in the summer for a fee rather than lose him for free in a year’s time.

English champions Manchester City are thought to be interested in the player, and the Nerazzurri have joined them, with exploratory contact reportedly having been made with the player’s entourage about the possibility of a move.

For now discussions have not progressed beyond this exploratory contact, but the player is aware of the interest and could agree to a move.
