Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto is a player who Inter are monitoring, but the Nerazzurri are currently thought to prefer signing Hector Bellerin or Davide Zappacosta for the right side of the squad.

This according to Barcelona-based newspaper Sport, who report that the 29-year-old could be set to leave the Camp Nou this summer.

Inter are on the hunt for a right-sided player to replace Achraf Hakimi in Simone Inzaghi’s squad, with the Moroccan’s departure imminent, and several names have come up recently.

Roberto is thought to have joined the list recently, with Spanish media reporting in the previous days that exploratory contact had been made between the Nerazzurri and the Blaugranas about the possibility of bringing the player to the Giuseppe Meazza.

So far, the contact between the clubs has only been exploratory in nature, and the player is not a priority for the Nerazzurri.

Right now, Arsenal right-back Bellerin is thought to be far ahead of Roberto on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist, while Chelsea’s Zappacosta is another player being considered should Bellerin prove impossible to sign.
