Inter have reached an agreement with a new shirt sponsor to replace Pirelli, with the new partner reported to be an American technology company.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the name of the company will be officially revealed some time after the club resume training on July 8.

The Nerazzurri’s 26-year partnership with Pirelli, one of the longest and most recognizable in European football, is officially concluded today, and the club have identified who will replace the Italian tire manufacturer.

The search for a new sponsor is thought to have commenced some months ago, although at times stalled due to the pandemic and the liquidity problems at the club, which have been overcome thanks to the loan from Oaktree Capital.

This search is over, however, and details will be released shortly before the Nerazzurri play their pre-season matches in Orlando with the Florida Cup tournament commencing July 22.
