Italian media have revealed the top targets for Inter in both wide areas for the summer window.

Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim in today’s print edition that Hector Bellerin is the priority on the right side with Davide Zappacosta as the backup option, while the club currently favour Marcos Alonso for the left with Emerson Palmieri their second choice.

Wide areas are thought to be a key part of the Nerazzurri’s agenda in the market this summer, with the left needing to be reinforced after the departure of Ashley Young while the departing Achraf Hakimi must be replaced on the right.

Multiple names have come up on each side as the Nerazzurri look to identify the correct profile for the roles in Simone Inzaghi’s while being mindful of budgetary concerns.

However, the club have reportedly narrowed their search to a shortlist containing players from the Premier League.

On the right, Hector Bellerin from Arsenal is the top target to replace Hakimi, but should the Nerazzurri be unable to sign the Spaniard they will look to bring in Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta.

Two other Chelsea players are considered to be the main options on the left-hand side, with Alonso and Emerson players that the Nerazzurri admire, and the club will hope that they can reach a deal with the Blues with ALonso’s profile liked especially.
