Inter are continuing to pursue Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta as a potential replacement for the departed Achraf Hakimi, and his current club have set his valuation at €12 million.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that an agreement is yet to be reached for the 29-year-old, who remains a target.

With Hakimi having left for Paris Saint-Germain, finding a right-sided player who can directly replace the Moroccan is a priority for the Nerazzurri in the summer transfer market.

Zappacosta’s name has emerged, with the Italian thought to be admired for the club because of his ability to play on both the left and right sides of the pitch, and he would be seen as a viable option for the role.

However, it remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached between clubs on a deal which would see the valuation met for the Italian, who has spent the past two seasons out on loan, with Roma and then Genoa.
