Edin Dzeko could be an Inter player in time to play in the Nerazzurri’s friendly against Dynamo Kiev on Saturday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the club are hoping to finalize the signing of the Bosnian in time to make him available in the squad for the last friendly of the season.

The Nerazzurri are wasting no time in making Dzeko the first attacking arrival following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, and they hope to have him integrated into the squad as soon as possible.

To this end, he could make his debut against Dynamo this weekend, as the club potentially look to even have him available for the Serie A opener against Genoa, for which Lautaro Martinez is suspended and Alexis Sanchez is ruled out through injury.

The friendly clash with the Ukrainian champions is Inter’s final friendly scheduled this summer before the Serie A season kicks off, and will take place at 16:30 CEST in Monza.

Apart from Dzeko being hoped to be available for the match, Danilo D’Ambrosio will also be able to participate after recovering from a knock, while Alexis Sanchez and Roberto Gagliardini will miss the encounter through injury.
