Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is set to miss at least the Nerazzuri’s next two matches through injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Chilean will likely be out of next week’s trip to Ukraine to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in addition to the weekend’s Serie A clash with Atalanta.

Vidal has missed the last two Serie A matches with his club due to a thigh strain which he suffered prior to Saturday’s match at the San Siro against Bologna.

The 34-year-old is also all but certain to miss this coming Saturday’s clash with Atalanta, though he could be back in time for the following weekend’s Serie A match against Sassuolo, Inter’s last before the international break.

Even if the Chilean is to miss the match against the Neroverdi, however, he will likely want to join up with his national side during the break.
