Referee Luca Pairetto will take charge of Inter’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo on Saturday, with the list of officials to referee the match having been officially announced.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who list the team of officials for the fixture, to be headed up by Pairetto.

Pairetto will be assisted by the likes of Damiano Margani and Salvatore Longo, while the role of the fourth official will be taken up by Matteo Gariglio.

In the VAR booth, Luigi Nasca will be assisted by Giorgio Pereti, and they will work to ensure that any incorrect decisions made by the on-pitch officials are overturned.

Inter will hope that the focus of the match is on the action on the pitch rather than on any refereeing controversy, having been involved in a match against Fiorentina where some decisions affecting both teams were the subject of criticism from Italian media.
