Inter are working towards the renewals of key midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella, and will look to get the pair’s situations sorted out after the international break.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported late last night that the finding agreements with the duo is a priority for the Nerazzurri and that they are working to wrap up renewals for both players.

Brozovic’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and the Nerazzurri have made not losing him on a free transfer next summer a priority especially as he is such an important player in the club’s plans.

To this end, a meeting with the Croat’s agent should take place after the international break, with the club hoping that agreement can be found swiftly on a new deal.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have already met with Barella’s agent Alessandro Beltrami in Kiev, where the will of all parties to continue on together was affirmed and the conditions for an agreement were defined on extending the 24-year-old’s deal past the end of June 2024 when it currently runs out.
