Inter are closely following Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, who is one of their main attacking targets for the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Sporting Director Piero Ausilio in particular is an admirer of the Serbian attacker.

Jovic is out of favour at the Bernabeu, and could be allowed to leave on loan even without an obligation to buy on a permanent basis, and he could be the right player that the Nerazzurri are looking for to complete their attack in January if Alexis Sanchez leaves.

Jovic had been among Inter’s list of targets to bolster their attack following the departure of Romelu Lukaku in August before the club moved onto other targets.

Ausilio has not lost his interest in the 23-year-old however, and he could be deemed to have the right profile for the club to make a swoop for him in January.
