Inter have yet to find an agreement with midfielder Marcelo Brozovic on a new deal, with the Croatian still demanding more than the club are offering.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 28-year-old wants no less than a net of €6 million per season, while the Nerazzurri are only ready to go to €5 million, and that new Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is interested in signing him.

Brozovic’s deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and while renewing with him is a priority for the club, little progress has been made.

The Nerazzurri are reluctant to rise any higher than €5 million net per season plus add-ons on a salary for a new deal, while the player is not ready to agree to anything lower than €6 million.

Spurs are considering the player, with new coach Conte reportedly asking for a reunion with the midfielder with whom he worked successfully during his two seasons in charge at Inter, and the Nerazzurri may have to worry about the interest of the Premier League club as they try to convince the midfielder to commit his future.
