Fourteen Inter players are set to be involved with their national teams over the international break, with the call-ups having been confirmed.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who detail the players’ situations and note that this time around the South American players will not have to play an extra match which will cause them to return late.

In the Italian national team, two Inter players have been called up, namely Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni.

Meanwhile, two other European nations have two internationals from the Nerazzurri squad for the break, namely Croatia who have called up Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic and the Netherlands who will be relying on the likes of Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries.

Turk Hakan Calhanoglu, Slovak Milan Skriniar, and Bosnian Edin Dzeko are also all going to be with their international teams over the break.

The Nerazzurri will be glad that this time around the South American teams will not be playing an extra World Cup qualifier, three in total, to make up for fixtures missed in the spring, and they can expect that their South American internationals will not return at the eleventh hour.

Argentines Joaquin Correa and Lautaro Martinez, Chileans Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez, and Uruguayan Matias Vecino will all be with their national sides over the break.
