Inter defender Andreas Brehme turned 61 yesterday, and the Nerazzurri are hoping that supporters will take the time to remember the contributions that the German made to the club, including a Scudetto win during the 1988-89 season.
The club posted a picture of Brehme posing with his trophy cabinet on their official Instagram account, and invited fans to wish the great former defender a happy birthday in recognition of his accomplishments with the club.
They included a quote from the German in the post, “This club has a special place in my heart.”
