Inter are among the clubs interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfer next summer.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on Gazzetta.it that the 24-year-old Swiss midfielder is a target for the Nerazzurri as well as other top European clubs who have joined Roma in the chase for his signature.

Zakaria’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and he has yet to agree a new deal with his current club Gladbach despite their offered new deal on improved financial terms.

The Giallorossi have reportedly been looking to convince the midfielder, who changed agents and is now represented by his family and an intermediary, on a switch next summer.

However, Inter have also begun to consider moving for the 24-year-old next summer when he is out of contract, as have Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
