Inter have been offered Galatasaray centre-back Marcao, but they are not interested in him and prefer Torino’s Bremer for the position.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that Bremer remains the priority target as the Nerazzurri look to strengthen their defensive options.

The entourage of Brazilian defender Marcao have proposed a January transfer for the player to a number of Italian clubs, including Inter, but the Nerazzurri indicated to them that they have no interest in signing him.

Bremer, meanwhile, has impressed the club who believe that he could be a viable first-team option with the likes of Danilo D’Ambrosio, Aleksandar Kolarov, and Andrea Ranocchia’s deals all expiring next summer and Stefan de Vrij’s situation also up in the air as the Dutchman’s contract runs out at the end of June 2023.

The 24-year-old’s current deal with the Granata is set to run out at the end of June 2023, and his club would likely be willing to sell him for around €10-12 million rather than risk losing him for free should he not agree to a proposed extension until the summer of 2025.
